Welcome to the IWV Model Rocketry Club

Goal: Provide the community with a safe and educational space to learn about and launch rockets

Why are we here? : The creation of this club was inspired by the desire to ensure that everyone had access to rocketry in the IWV and surrounding areas. The club wanted to create more events that reach as many people as possible and provided the fewest number of barriers

What does it cost to join? Nothing , 0, zilch. We call ourselves a club simply for the identifiable nature of the term club and how it helps to create cohesion for the group. Showing up to events, helping build rockets, and participating in social media posts are all great ways to be involved.

Thanks to our sponsors and funding from private sources we are able to share our public events at no cost to participants. The public launch events are free, raffles from the club are free to enter, prizes and giveaways are all free. Donations at events are welcome.
